Authorities believe ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera is presumed dead after drowning in a lake

According to Ventura County Sheriffs Office, ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera is under investigation after being presumed dead at a lake in Southern California.

Authorities believe the actress had an accident and drowned in the lake. As Ventura County Sheriff Deputy Chris Dyer said, “We’re presuming that an accident happened and we’re presuming she drowned in the lake”. 33 year old Naya Rivera vanished from Lake Piru on Wednesday evening. Authorities say she went to the lake that afternoon and rented a pontoon boat with her 4-year-old son.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Capt. Eric Bushow, previously said Rivera and her son went swimming but Rivera did not come back on the boat. Bushow said Rivera’s son had on a life vest but a adult life vest was left on the boat. For readers who don’t know, Rivera played Santana Lopez on the popular Fox musical-comedy ‘Glee’ for six years. Fans and co-stars send prays for the actress and her family for hope will be found.
